Wood Street Vets has been awarded a £1,000 IVC Evidensia Community Grant! They have donated it to the Wildlife Rescue and Ambulance Service in Enfield, a wonderful charity that provides a safe haven for sick, injured, and orphaned wild animals and birds. Every IVC Evidensia practice can apply for a Community Grant to support local causes, and the practice chose to support Wildlife Rescue and Ambulance Service because of their close collaboration in caring for local wildlife. Deputy Head Nurse, Daniel Henman, said, “We applied for the grant as a way to thank Wildlife Rescue and Ambulance Service Enfield for their incredible work. They never turn away an animal in need and do a fantastic job rehabilitating and releasing them whenever possible.” Read the full story: https://ow.ly/Vahk50T9CL0 #IVCEvidensiaCares #IVCEvidensiaShares #CommunityFundraising

A routine drive home for the Robinson family turned into a nightmare when another driver collided with their car, sending them, their horse trailer and their pony, into a ditch. Thankfully, the dedicated team from Pool House Equine Hospital stepped in to assist, joining forces with four fire crews to rescue the pony, Charlie, who was trapped by a hedge. This story is a powerful reminder of the compassion and commitment within the veterinary community and the incredible work they do every single day. Today we welcomed the CMA to Bath Veterinary Group’s Rosemary Lodge Hospital as part of our ongoing open and constructive engagement with them during their market investigation. It was great to help their team learn even more about our sector, the amazing work our vets and vet nurses do every day and the realities of offering contextualised care in all circ*mstances, and how updating the regulatory framework could improve things for patients, customers and our people. Above all, we were proud to showcase the quality of care and customer service that our dedicated vets, vet nurses and support staff together provide every day.
