A 22-year-old man has been arrested for repeatedly stealing checks from a woman's mailbox and using them to deposit money into his own account, the Auburn Police Department said. A Wayne County man was arrested Sunday and charged with a hate crime for allegedly breaking into a home and directing racially motivated threats against the resident. Adam J. The Watkins Glen Police Department reports the arrest of Noelle L. McCarthy, 27, of Watkins Glen following a traffic stop on December 16th. Police say McCarthy was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana. The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Williamson man following a larceny investigation. Gage M. Godfrey, 27, allegedly stole property from Breen’s Market in Williamson. On December 13th around 8:20 pm, Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a motor vehicle accident on Bromka Road near Log City Road. The vehicle’s operator, Daniel M.
