I look forward to returning to work everyday. I love painting so much that sometimes it doesn’t even feel like I’m working.

Feeling stressed and burnt out from work? Here’s a radical idea: pick up a paintbrush.Painting is an excellent stress-relief activity that has been shown to improve mood, calm the mind, and boost creativity. In our hectic work life, it's easy to get lost in a sea of reports, deadlines, and meetings. But with painting, you can unplug from technology and the stresses of the outside world. You don't have to be a professional artist to enjoy the benefits of painting. The act of creating something with colors, textures, and shapes is inherently rewarding. It allows you to express your emotions, release tension, and cultivate mindfulness. So why not try painting as a new hobby? You might surprise yourself with your own creativity and find some much-needed relief from the daily grind.

Does painting make me a better marketer? 💫According to research, it does! And I believe so too. Having a hobby is not only beneficial for your personal development, mental well being and work life balance, it can also help you develop professional skills. I recently picked up my painting brushes again (I used to paint a lot). Let me tell you why it improves my work performance:▫️ Painting allows me to clear my mind. This allows me to see things from a fresh perspective and boosts overall creative thinking. ▫️ Having a hobby enhances my ability to learn and grow, which results in a strong growth mindset - in my opinion one of the most important skills to have in your professional career. ▫️ Having a hobby that challenges me improves my innovative thinking skills. ▫️ Personally, putting my passion into something beyond work significantly improves my mental well-being and overall happiness. Finding the time may require some prioritisation and time management skills, but the benefits are definitely worth it. I feel super happy to be back to painting again! And who knows, maybe you will see more paintings in the future 😉 #worklifebalance #painting

🎨 It took me a whole year to conquer procrastination."I've got a lot on my plate today; I'll save painting for tomorrow."(Tomorrow)"I'll make time for painting on the weekend."(Weekend arrives)"Let me finish this work first, and then I'll get back to painting."(A month later)"I really should have painted something... I miss it."(Six months later)"I miss painting so much :(."(A year later)"Enough is enough! I'm grabbing my tools and paints. Painting today."For the past year, I kept putting off my favorite hobby, thinking work took priority. But I realized that no matter how busy I am, there's always time for something I love. Yesterday, I took action and completed a painting I had abandoned for almost a year. This experience taught me that taking care of yourself is crucial for both personal and professional well-being. And it's as simple as doing what you love. 🖌️✨It's a reminder that dedicating time to your passions and mental well-being is essential. Don't wait for the perfect moment, create it!#MentalHealthMatters #PassionProject #SelfCare #ProcrastinationConquered #SelfCare #FollowYourPassion

✨ Embracing Batik Painting: A Journey of Rediscovery ✨🌟 In the midst of a weekend getaway, rekindling my passion for painting was a reminder that our passions & 'me time' are the secret sauce to surge ahead in the week! 💪Rediscovering my passion for Batik painting was initially met with a hint of hesitation. 🎨 I wondered if I could still create those vibrant colors, intricate patterns that used to flow effortlessly from my brush. But, as soon as I dipped that brush into these colors, I realized the magic was still there, waiting to be awakened. ✨This experience brought forth few lessons beyond the canvas:💖 Trust in Yourself: Sometimes, we doubt our abilities, but it's essential to trust that your skills are still within you, waiting to resurface. The spark sometimes might fade, it just needs a little spark to reignite the flame.🔑 Embrace Your Interests: Rediscovering our passions can infuse new perspectives, creativity into our work. It's like a breath of fresh air for new thinking, problem-solving, innovation.💼 Work-Life Balance / Energy Boost: 'Me time' isn't just a luxury; it's a necessity. Self care, making time to nurture your interests, hobbies can energize you, fuel new perspectives. Sometimes stepping away is the key to moving forward.🌿 Nourish Your Soul: Pursue hobbies and passions to find joy and meaning beyond the nine-to-five grind.Don't hesitate to immerse yourself in what brings you joy; you might discover captivating colors & patterns along the way. Maximise your weekend, even if it's just for a brief moment✨#Passion #Rejuvenation #MeTimeMagic #Motivation
